I rarely nowadays feel excited about podcasts. I severely overdid my podcast consumption some years ago and since then I've been bored with podcasts altogether.

However the Fall of Civilizations Podcast by Paul M.M. Cooper is very good.

A podcast that explores the collapse of different societies through history.

YouTube's mysterious algorithm suggested 8. The Sumerians - Fall of the First Cities and I got hooked immediately. I have no idea about the validity or historical accuracy of the wealth of information presented in each episode but I find it extremely soothing. Highly recommended.
